Model 162 Dining Table by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik, 1950s, Denmark.

£3,500.00

As a loyal pupil of Kaare Klint, Børge Mogensen designed furniture that was simple, democratic, and built to the human scale. His work for Søborg Møbelfabrik in the 1950s marks a development in his style following a long period at FDB. He would later co-found Frederica in the 1960s, making Søborg furniture rare and highly sought after.

This dining table is beautifully engineered in teak with oak legs and steel struts. Generously sized, it can seat 8–10 people. The tabletop retains its original patina, showing a subtle, elegant variation in colour that reflects careful use and age.

Height 73cm / Length 140cm / Extended Length 240cm / Width 90cm
