A beautifully restored unsigned midcentury rocking chair, similar in form to classic Parker Knoll designs. The beech frame has been fully stripped and refinished with Osmo and beeswax.
The seat and back are handwoven with natural jute webbing with a fine green stripe. The seat cushion is a feather wrapped foam inner, upholstered in Bute Mercury wool with an exposed zip detail. It contrasts with a rectangular lumbar cushion in traditional blue and white striped ticking.
The combination of the high back, webbing, cushion and the rocking motion make it a very comfortable chair.
