1726 the first factory was built for Rorstrand. 2005 the factory closed down and is now the Rorstrand museum.
Carl-Harry Stalhane. 1920 to 1990
Stalhane grew up near the Rorstrand factory and began working for Rorstrand at 18. He studied painting in Stockholm and Sculpture in Paris. His tenure at Rorstrand was from 1939 to 1973 he became chief designer and artistic director at Rorstrand. HIs work Is represented in museums including MoMA and the V&A.
