Faceted Matcha Bowls
A pair of hand thrown, footed matcha bowls in two sizes, each carefully faceted by hand. Fine vertical carving creates a subtle surface that catches the light and gives the bowls a quiet tactile quality.
The faceted form has its roots in Korean Buncheong pottery, where carving reduced weight, improved grip and brought life to the clay.
Finished in a soft matte glaze with gentle celadon tones.
Large: 110 mm diameter × 57 mm high
Small: 90 mm diameter × 60 mm high
£110 for the pair.
