An original Ercol 747 lounge chair, designed in the 1970s and handcrafted in High Wycombe from beech sourced from the Chiltern Hills. Its simple design balances clean, modern lines with traditional chair-making craftsmanship, while its compact scale makes it equally at home in a quiet reading nook, a bedroom, or a living room.
We’ve restored this piece to extend its life for decades to come. The frame has been carefully stripped and refinished with Osmo and beeswax. With bespoke loose covers in a dusky red brushed cotton.
